It’s a metaphor

what the hell is that a metaphor for

Life

the unicorn represents us all as people the dylan sitting on it represents our thoughts, our hopes, and our dreams
We are the unicorn, crushed by all of the things we want to do with very little time to actually do it. As we struggle to do everything, our minds make what we want seem more close than they actually are.
After trying to make our dreams come true several times, we finally give up on them and just let them sit on our shoulders, forever reminding us that we are failures.

Tetsuya Ishida

His surreal paintings explore the dark side of modern life. He was born in 1973 and was hit by a train in 2005, a possible suicide. 180 pieces of his brilliant work still exist.

Fuck yeah to the kids who feel like they’re dying inside but still gather up the strength to roll out of bed, get dressed, and leave the house. You are strong and beautiful and worth so much more than you know.
